Our story
Thaki Voyage was born from a shared passion for Bolivia, and a desire to share its wealth differently than through standardized itineraries. From La Paz to the peaks of the Royal Cordillera, the agency was built around a genuine attachment to the country and its people.
Founded in 2011 in La Paz by Anne and Jérôme, two French friends who fell in love with Bolivia through their travels, the agency reflects their values: a human approach, dynamic and deeply rooted in the field. Over the years, the team has explored the country extensively, seeking out remote corners and authentic encounters, building lasting relationships with local communities and partners.
Today, Thaki Voyage operates as a close-knit family business. Anne, who wrote a book about the Cordillera Real, and Jérôme lead a team where each member brings their expertise and passion. The agency is genuinely committed to supporting Bolivian communities: funding a mountain refuge, providing culinary and language training, partnering with Ifremmont, and maintaining constant attention to environmental and cultural respect throughout our journeys.

Your payments are 100% protected by the Professional Solidarity Association for Tourism. If a service provider (hotel, transport, etc.) or the agency fails, your funds are refunded. This is a mandatory guarantee for any French travel agency — Nomadays benefits from it across its entire network.
Yes, as much as possible. Changes made more than 30 days before departure are generally free of charge (excluding hotel rate differences). As your departure approaches, some bookings become less flexible — we always inform you of your options before confirmation.
Payment is made in full in France, in euros, with Nomadays — secured by credit card or bank transfer. You have no payments to make en Bolivie: everything is pre-arranged (accommodations, transfers, guides, activities). You just need to budget for meals outside the itinerary and personal purchases.
