How to choose your Bolivia trip?

Bolivia is rarely discovered in less than 12 days. Altitude requires progressive acclimatization and distances between regions, often covered by domestic flight or 4x4, extend transfer times. A trip of 13 to 17 days allows you to combine La Paz, Lake Titicaca, Sucre and the Uyuni salt flat. To add the Rurrenabaque Amazon or South Lipez down to the Chilean border, plan for 18 days or more.

Our team systematically adjusts the pace to your profile: we often start from Sucre (2,810 m) or Santa Cruz (416 m) to acclimate your body before heading back up to the Altiplano.

Different types of trips

Bolivia lends itself to many interpretations. Our cultural trips explore the Tarabuco markets, the Jesuit missions of Chiquitania and the colonial heritage of Potosí. Adventure enthusiasts find their way on the South Lipez trails, climbing Huayna Potosí (6,088 m) or biking down the Yungas Road.

For family trips, we favour short stages, suitable accommodations and hands-on activities: navigation on Lake Titicaca, wildlife watching in the Amazon, weaving workshops in Sucre.

What is the best season?

The dry season from May to October remains the most stable window. Blue skies over the Altiplano, daytime temperatures around 15-18°C, cold nights dropping to -20°C in June-July in South Lipez. May and September offer the best balance between weather and crowds. From November to March, rains transform the Uyuni salt flat into a giant mirror, a landscape sought after by photographers, but complicate the trails and limit access to the Amazon in the pampas.
